This triple-black 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet was acquired by its current owner in 2021. After suffering an IMS bearing failure in 2025, the engine was rebuilt to displace 4.1 liters at a cost of nearly $32,500. The Slakker Racing Development Hartech build features nickle-plated cylinders, big-end bearings, a large-bearing IMS bearing upgrade, reconditioned heads, and replacement timing components. Additional work in 2025 totaling an additional $14k included mounting Continental tires on the 17? Carrera 10-spoke wheels, replacing the power steering pump and convertible top latch mechanism, and fitting a new clutch for the six-speed manual transaxle. The car is further equipped with heated and eight-way power-adjustable seats, a Becker sound system linked to a Hi-Fi sound system, Litronic headlights, and a body-color hardtop. Now with 58k miles, this 996.2 cabriolet is offered on consignment at no reserve by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Black (L041) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a black convertible soft top as well as Litronic headlights, headlight washers, integrated fog lights, a deployable rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets with polished finishers. The staggered Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires were mounted on the Carrera 10-spoke 17? wheels in 2025, at which time the power steering pump was replaced. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The heated front seats have eight-way power adjustments, power lumbar support, and memory settings for the driver. The Becker stereo is linked to a Hi-Fi sound system.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 58k miles, approximately 11k of which were added under current ownership. The ignition lock was replaced in September 2025.
