This 2014 Aston Martin DB9 Volante was built through the “Q by Aston Martin” specification program for display at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance, with more than $63k in Q and optional equipment. The Q Pure Satin White finish is complemented by a blue soft top, while the cabin is trimmed in Q White Essence and Aurora Blue leather. Other cabin appointments include Aston Martin front headrest embroidery, Ice Mocha seat belts, and Piano Black trim in addition to a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system and a two-tone steering wheel. Power comes from a 5.9-liter V12 that drives the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Optional 20? Liquid Silver wheels are fitted over ceramic-composite brakes with black Aston Martin-branded calipers, and the suspension is equipped with adaptive damping. This DB9 now has 4,600 miles and is offered in California on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a picnic basket, a luggage set, a clean Carfax report, a copy of the window sticker, and a clean Colorado title.
The DB9 featured a mix of aluminum and composite body panels installed over an extruded aluminum spaceframe. This example is finished in Q Pure Satin White with a blue soft top and Q badging. Other details include hood vents, fender vents, parking sensors, heated rear glass, LED taillights, and dual exhaust outlets.
Liquid Silver 20? 10-spoke wheels are mounted with 245/35 front and 295/30 rear Pirelli P Zero tires that have 2013 date codes. A three-stage Adaptive Damping System (ADS) was specified from the factory along with black Aston Martin-branded calipers over cross-drilled ceramic-composite rotors.
The heated and power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in Q White Essence leather with Aurora Blue inserts, and the combination extends to the dashboard, door panels, and rear seats. Aston Martin Wings are embroidered on the front headrests, while Ice Mocha seat belts and Piano Black gloss trim accent the cabin. Additional appointments include a rearview camera, a retractable navigation screen, a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system, and push-button ignition.
The sill plates denote that the car was built for the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 4,600 miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.9-liter DOHC V12 was factory rated at 510 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed ZF Touchtronic 2 automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
