This 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 has been registered in California, Texas, and Hawaii since at least 1991, and it shows 96k miles. A 2003 mechanical refurbishment that included overhauling the powertrain, suspension, and brakes was completed by Icon 4×4 of Chatsworth, California, which also replaced exterior and interior elements along with engine components in 2018. Finished in tan over gray upholstery, the truck was acquired by its current owner in 2022, and it has a winch, power steering, front disc brakes, LED headlights, Old Man Emu suspension components, and rear jump seats. Power comes from a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. This FJ40 is now offered on dealer consignment in California with 2018 service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Hawaii title in the owner’s name.

The truck and its removable hardtop are finished in tan with a white roof. The bumpers were replaced in 2018, at which time a Warn M8274 winch and 7? LED headlights were installed along with powder-coated hood latches and mirror caps.

Powder-coated 15? steel wheels are mounted with 31×10.50? BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The truck has power steering and manually locking front hubs, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The front bucket seats are trimmed in gray vinyl that extends to the door panels, and a perforated headliner is fitted. The floors were stripped, repaired, and coated with Line-X protective coating in 2018, and the door seals were replaced.

A three-spoke steering wheel frames the 85-mph speedometer, which has a six-digit odometer that shows 96k miles.

The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The radiator, alternator, starter, oil pan, and timing cover gasket were replaced in 2018 along with U-joints and the the transfer case seals, and the driveshafts were balanced.
