Vehicle Overview

1967 Porsche 911 Coupe

This 1967 Porsche 911 coupe is finished in black over black vinyl and is powered by a 2.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2013 and features 15? wheels, a driver-side mirror, bumper guards, gold Porsche badging, and a Becker Europa II AM/FM stereo. Service performed during current ownership is said to include replacement of the clutch assembly, flywheel, throw-out bearing, spark plug wires, and distributor cap and rotor, along with the installation of Bilstein shocks, SSI stainless steel heat exchangers, and a Dansk muffler. This 911 is now offered on dealer consignment with black California license plates and a clean California title.

The body was reportedly refinished from red to black in the 1980s and features a driver-side mirror, bumper guards, gold Porsche badging, and fog lights. Areas of the paint are faded, and rock chips, rust, and pitting are noted on the exterior. Evidence of the previous red finish can be seen on multiple panels.

15? steel wheels feature chrome Porsche-branded hubcaps and wear 165-series Michelin XZX tires. Bilstein shocks are fitted, and work during current ownership is said to have included replacement of the brake calipers and rotors.

The interior features black vinyl seats and door panels, brushed metal trim, and a black dashboard pad. Equipment includes front vent windows, a Porsche-branded shift knob, folding rear seats, and a Becker Europa II AM/FM stereo with a glovebox-mounted cassette player.

The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a central 8k-rpm tachometer and a 150-mph speedometer, as well as a clock and gauges for fuel level and engine temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 71k miles. True mileage is unknown.

The carbureted 2.0-liter flat-six has reportedly been fitted with SSI stainless steel heat exchangers, and recent maintenance included an oil change.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle that has reportedly been refurbished with replacement synchronizers and a replacement first gear. Additional work is said to have included replacement of the clutch assembly, throw-out bearing, and flywheel, along with installation of a Dansk muffler. Rust is visible underneath.
