This 2004 Lotus Esprit V8 is #73 of 79 Final Edition examples produced between 2003 and 2004, and it is finished in Nightfall Blue Metallic over Magnolia leather upholstery. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V8 mated to a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is equipped with  17? and 18? OZ Monoblock Nova wheels, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a removable glass roof panel, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, air conditioning, power windows and locks, and an Alpine CD stereo. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2017, and service in preparation for the sale consisted of replacing the timing belt, water pump, cam belt idler, and belt tensioner. This Esprit has 30k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, a Lotus Certificate of Vehicle Provenance, service records, a removable body-color roof panel, a clean Carfax report, and a California title.

The final iteration of the Esprit was introduced in 2002 and featured a redesigned tail panel with round taillights. This example is that last of nine Final Edition cars finished in Nightfall Blue Metallic (B105). Exterior details include body-color and glass roof panels, a front splitter, a rear wing, pop-up headlights, fog lights, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and central dual exhaust outlets.

The 17? and 18? OZ Monoblock Nova alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that measure 245/40 and 285/35, respectively. Braking is handled by ventilated discs at each corner with AP Racing front calipers. The selling dealer states that the tires were replaced and an alignment was performed in preparation for the sale.

The seats are trimmed in Magnolia leather upholstery and feature diamond-pattern inserts and blue piping. Body-color trim accents the door panels and shifter surround, and amenities include a heated rear window, air conditioning, power windows and locks, and an Alpine CD stereo. There is wear on the driver’s outer seat bolster.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 30k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.5L V8 was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed in May 2024, and the belt tensioner, cam belt idler, and water pump were replaced at that time. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in June 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.

The Lotus Certificate of Vehicle Provenance indicates the car was the last of nine Final Edition examples finished in Nightfall Blue Metallic, and that it was the seventh from the last Esprit built. A window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, and service records are included in the sale.
