This 1971 Jensen Interceptor was built in August 1970 and is powered by a 383ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in blue over black upholstery, the car is equipped with Rostyle 15” wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, electronic ignition, an Audiovox AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, and power windows. The current owner reportedly acquired the car in 1987 and has kept it in California, and a cosmetic refurbishment was conducted in 2003. This Mark II Interceptor is now offered on dealer consignment with service records since 2018 and a clean California title in the owner’s name.

The car is said to have been repainted blue in 2003. Exterior details include a wraparound glass hatch, pop-out quarter windows, quadruple headlights, fender vents, bright rocker-panel trim, a remote-adjustable driver-side mirror, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets. The headlight-actuator relay was replaced in 2019.

Chrome-accented Rostyle 15? wheels are mounted with 215/65 Toyo Eclipse tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in black upholstery, which is carried over to the door panels and the dashboard. Appointments include air conditioning, power windows, a lockable center console, a lockable glovebox, front and rear seatbelts, an Audiovox AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a trunk-mounted fire extinguisher. The motor and gears for the passenger-side power window were replaced in 2021.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and fronts Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and centrally mounted auxiliary gauges and a clock. The five-digit odometer shows 59k miles, approximately 15k of which have been added under current ownership.

The Chrysler-sourced 383ci V8 features a single carburetor and Jensen-branded valve covers. The oil sending unit was replaced in 2018, the cooling-fan wiring was replaced in 2019, an electronic ignition kit was installed in 2021, and the distributor rotor was replaced in 2022. The oil was changed most recently in July 2023.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is noted on underbody components.
