This 2006 Ford GT is one of 2,011 examples built for the model year, and it was purchased new by its current owner, who has since driven the car 12k miles. It is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 linked with a six-speed manual gearbox and a helical limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Tungsten Grey Metallic over Ebony leather. Factory options include forged aluminum BBS wheels, painted Silver stripes, gray-painted brake calipers, and a McIntosh stereo system. Service in preparation for the sale has included re-sealing the supercharger, replacing the tires, oil pump belt, and air filters, and sourcing a variety of other replacement parts. This Ford GT is now offered on dealer consignment by Mohr Imports, a BaT Local Partner, as part of their Monterey Car Week Collection with a window sticker, literature, an inspection report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The GT took inspiration from the GT40 racing cars of the 1960s and features an extruded-aluminum space frame, roll-bonded floors, and aluminum body panels.
This example is one of 541 finished in Tungsten Grey for the model year and features optional over-the-top Silver stripes as well as Ford GT graphics, HID headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, a vented hood, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and a dual center-exit exhaust system.
Factory-optional BBS forged lightweight aluminum wheels measure 18” up front and 19” out back and are wrapped in Bridgestone tires with production codes from 2025. The Brembo braking system features gray-painted, four-piston monoblock calipers with cross-drilled and ventilated rotors that measure 14” up front and 13.2” out back.
The cockpit is trimmed in Ebony leather and houses manually adjusted seats designed by Sparco that feature carbon-fiber shells as well as GT40-style ventilation grommets and harness slots. The central tunnel is topped by an aluminum console with rotary climate controls, and rubber mats cover the aluminum floor panels. Additional interior amenities include a McIntosh CD stereo, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, and push-button ignition.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is affixed to a tilting and telescoping column ahead of the GT40-inspired instrument array including toggle switches. The car was acquired by the current owner with 10 delivery miles, and the odometer now shows 12k miles.
The mid-mounted 5.4-liter DOHC V8 features an aluminum block, cylinder heads, and pistons in addition to a Lysholm screw-type supercharger, a dry-sump lubrication system, and a water-to-air intercooler. Factory-rated output was 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.
Work performed in preparation for the sale is listed above, and highlights include removing and re-sealing the supercharger as well as replacing the tires, oil pump belt, and air filters.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ricardo six-speed manual transaxle and a helical limited-slip differential. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
