This 1983 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole coupe is a European-market example that was purchased new by the current owner from Achilli Motors in Milan, Italy, and subsequently imported to the US. The car is powered by a 2.9-liter F105A V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Azzurro over Creme leather and brown cloth upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 16? five-spoke alloy wheels, a gated shifter, power windows, a Pioneer cassette stereo, and R134a-based air conditioning. Work completed in 2019 included adjusting the valves and replacing the timing belt, timing belt tensioner, thermostat, drive belt, battery, radiator hoses, thermostat, fuel filter, and fuel accumulator. This Mondial Quattrovalvole coupe is offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with service records, manufacturer’s literature, import documentation, a spare set of wheels, an aftermarket sport exhaust system, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in Azzurro and features pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, side air intakes, black lower bodywork, and quadruple exhaust outlets. The 16? five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel vented discs. A spare set of 390mm five-spoke alloy wheels is included in the sale.

The four-place cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Creme leather with patterned brown cloth inserts. Interior features include a gated shifter, power windows, a Pioneer cassette stereo, and air conditioning, the latter of which was converted to utilize R134a refrigerant in 2019, at which time the window motors were replaced.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 280-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 88k kilometers (~55k miles), all of which were added under current ownership. A spare 150-mph speedometer is included in the sale.

The transverse 2.9-liter F105A V8 features aluminum construction and was upgraded in the Quattrovalvole model with four valves per cylinder. The engine also uses two overhead camshafts per cylinder bank and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection to produce a factory-rated 230 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Work completed in 2019 included adjusting the valves and replacing the timing belt, timing belt tensioner, thermostat, drive belt, battery, hood struts, radiator hoses, thermostat, fuel filter, and fuel accumulator.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket sport exhaust system is included in the sale. There is corrosion on the underside components.
