Vehicle Overview
This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was acquired in 2018 by the current owner, who commissioned a build by Kreations Auto Body in California. Work involved installing a 6.2-liter V8 that is backed by a five-speed manual transmission as well as refinishing the car in silver. A black soft top complements the finish, and a body-color hardtop is also included. The car rides on Ridetech suspension and American Racing 18? wheels, and other components include a DeWitts radiator, a Tru-Trac pulley system, BBK headers, a side-exit exhaust system, and four-wheel disc brakes. The cabin is appointed with black upholstery, air conditioning, and a retro-look radio. This modified C2 convertible is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a clean California title.

Finished from the factory in Riverside Red, the car was repainted in its current shade of silver during the refurbishment work and is equipped with a matching hardtop, a black soft top, and side-exit exhaust pipes.

American Racing 18? wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires and fitted over cross-drilled and slotted discs with Wilwood front calipers. Ridetech coilovers and Strong Arm control arms are also fitted. A Ridetech rear trailing arm was replaced in preparation for the sale.

Two bucket seats are trimmed in black upholstery, and the cabin has been outfitted with an air conditioning system and a retro-look radio.

The three-spoke aftermarket steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 10k miles, which is said to represent the miles traveled since the completion of the build.

The selling dealer tells us that a 6.2-liter LS3 crate motor was used for the build. Components include a DeWitts radiator with dual fans as well as BBK headers, a Tru-Trac pulley system, and a K&N air intake.

The engine is backed by a five-speed manual transmission. Additional photos showing the condition of the underside are included in the gallery below.

Decoding the trim tag reveals:

- Body A-836 – A.O. Smith body number
