This 1993 BMW 850Ci was acquired new by the current owner at BMW of Monterey and added to his collection, accruing 79k miles since. It was specified in Sterling Silver Metallic over Silver-Gray buffalo leather and is powered by a 5.0-liter V12 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission. The car is further equipped with EDC suspension, fog lights, 16? Style 8 alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. The headliner was replaced in 2024, and in preparation for the sale, both batteries were changed. This E31 is now offered on consignment at no reserve by Mohr Imports, a BaT Local Partner, as part of their Monterey Car Week Collection with factory literature, the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, and a clean California title.
The pillarless coupe’s exterior is finished in Sterling Silver Metallic (244) and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, and black bodyside trim. A selection of paint meter readings is provided in the gallery.
The 16? Style 8 alloy wheels are mounted with 225/65 Michelin Pilot HX tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS, and the EDC suspension was overhauled in 2018 with replacement dampers and front-end thrust-rod bushings.
The cabin features front seats trimmed in Silver-Gray buffalo leather (0351), and the headliner was replaced in 2024. Equipment includes an onboard computer, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power-adjustable steering column. Cracks on trim items are noted.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 190-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 79k miles, all added by the owner.
The 5.0-liter M70 V12 was factory rated at 295 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Both batteries were replaced in May 2026 by BMW of Monterey in Seaside, California, at which time the technician noted oil leaks from the valve covers. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in May 2026.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
