This 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 coupe remained registered in California through the current owner’s acquisition from the selling dealer in 2013, and power is provided by a 3.6-liter flat-six that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The car rides on aftermarket coilovers, and a rear-seat delete kit featuring built-in covered storage bins has been installed in the cabin, which has power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Cashmere Beige leather along with a Porsche Classic head unit and LED lighting. Additional details include Polar Silver Metallic paint, a sunroof, pop-out rear windows, cruise control, 17? Cup II wheels, Bergvill F/X low-beam HID and high-beam LED headlights, and aftermarket LED brake lights and turn signals. This 993 C4 coupe shows 107k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Polar Silver Metallic (92M) and features Bergvill F/X low-beam HID and high-beam LED headlights along with LED brake lights and turn signals. It also has a sunroof, fog lights, heated power-adjustable mirrors, black rear bumperettes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The selling dealer reports paintwork has been performed on various panels, and photos of paint meter readings are presented in the gallery below. The underside of the front bumper cover is scraped.
Silver-finished 17? Cup II wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires measuring 205/50 up front and 255/40 out back. The 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension, and this example has been fitted with aftermarket coilovers. Braking is handled by silver-finished Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners, and the car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD).
The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Cashmere Beige leather and complemented by a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpeting. A Porsche-sourced rear-seat delete kit with built-in covered bins has been fitted in place of the factory rear seats, and the rear quarter glass has been modified to pop-out windows. Amenities also include LED interior lighting, cruise control, air conditioning, and a Porsche Classic head unit.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 107k miles, approximately 11k of which were added under current ownership.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The engine wiring harness was replaced per a manufacturer service action in September 2016, and the battery was replaced in August 2023. A May 2024 inspection report shown in the gallery lists noted issues.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. A right CV axle boot was replaced in March 2024.
