This 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe is finished in white over black, and in 2019 its flat-six was rebuilt to displace 3.8 liters by Makellos Classics in Escondido, California, who also overhauled the brakes and installed KW Clubsport coilovers as well as adjustable sway bars. Other equipment includes a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential, a Steve Wong ECU, 18? Fifteen52 wheels, a roll bar, adjustable Recaro bucket seats, a Porsche Classic navigation stereo, an aftermarket steering wheel, a Rennsport shifter, R134a air conditioning, a sunroof, a front splitter, and an active rear spoiler. The car has been registered in California since 1993, and the current owner acquired it from its original owner in 2018. This modified 964 shows 40k miles and is offered on dealership consignment with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a California title.

The car was delivered new in Grand Prix White (L908). Features include tinted glass, front air inlets, a front splitter, LED headlights with black surrounds, clear corner lenses, “3.8” rocker decals, a sunroof, an active rear spoiler, and dual exhaust finishers. The selling dealer states that a paint protection film has been applied to areas of the body, and receipts indicate dent repair and and touch-up work was performed in 2019. Each side of the car is shown up close in the photo gallery below.

Black 18? Fifteen52 Tarmac wheels are mounted with 235/40 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The suspension has been modified with KW Clubsport coilovers, adjustable front and rear sway bars, and replacement bushings. Cross-drilled front and rear rotors as well as a strut-tower brace have been installed, and the brake lines have been replaced.

The interior has been fitted with a roll bar and adjustable Recaro bucket seats upholstered in black leather and Alcantara, which match the carpeting and trim. Simplified door panels with red pulls have been installed along with a Porsche navigation stereo. Other additions include a Rothsport Racing shifter, Rennline pedals, and a fire extinguisher ahead of the passenger-side seat. The car is also equipped with R134a-converted air conditioning.

The three-spoke steering wheel without an airbag is mounted on a quick-release hub. VDO instrumentation includes a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, 180-mph speedometer, combination gauges, and an analog clock. The six-digit odometer shows just under 40k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added by the owner.

The air-cooled flat-six was rebuilt to displace 3.8 liters using Mahle RSR pistons by Makellos Classics in February 2019. A Steve Wong ECU was also utilized, and the oil lines have been replaced. The car last passed a California emissions text in October 2020, and a copy of the inspection report is provided in the gallery.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. The flywheel and clutch assembly have been replaced, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.

Service records from Makellos Classics will accompany the car, including a repair order detailing over $65k of work.
