This 1980 Porsche 911SC is one of approximately 400 Weissach Coupes produced, and it was sold new at Wester Porsche of Seaside, California. The car remained with its prior owner of approximately 35 years until its acquisition by the current owner in 2022, and subsequent work involved a partial repaint, a refresh of the interior, an overhaul of the brakes, and replacement of the air conditioning compressor, front ball joints, tie rod ends, and fuel injectors. It is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Platinum Silver Metallic over Doric Gray leather with red piping. Equipment includes 16? Fuchs alloy wheels, a sunroof, fog lights, a whale-tail rear spoiler, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, power windows, sport seats, and a PCCM head unit. This 911SC coupe shows 97k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment as part of Mohr Imports’ Pacific Porsche Collection with the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, and a clean California title.

Named for the home of Porsche’s research and development center, the special-edition Weissach Coupe was offered in Platinum Metallic (X6) or Black Metallic and included a front chin spoiler and a whale-tail rear spoiler, powered and heated side mirrors, a power antenna, fog lights, and a sunroof. This example underwent a cosmetic refresh by Frank Zucchi Restoration of Oakdale, California completed in 2025, and work involved refinishing the decklid as well as repairs of blemishes on the left quarter panel, door, sunroof, hood, and right front fender. The front spoiler, rear reflector, plus door, sunroof, body and bumper seals, and power antenna were replaced at that time, and H4 LED headlight bulbs were added. A ceramic coating was applied to the body after the work. Paint meter readings taken around the vehicle are provided in the gallery.

The 16? Fuchs wheels with body-color centers were refinished by Harvey Weidman and are mounted with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors. The brake calipers were remanufactured and the hoses and rotors replaced in 2025. Additional work at that time included replacing the front ball joints, tie rod ends, and front wheel seals.

The cabin was refreshed by Advanced Interior Restoration Services of Modesto, with work that involved replacing the carpets and cleaning, re-dying, repairing the seats, door panels, and trim, and replacing the dash pad and rear window shelf. The sport seats were reupholstered in Doric Gray leather with red piping under prior ownership, and the air conditioning system was converted to R134a while the air conditioning compressor was replaced under current ownership. A Porsche Classic Communication Management head unit was also installed along with replacement speakers.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as an 85-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 97k miles, less than 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. The fuel injectors, battery, oxygen sensor, belts, hoses, straps, and engine mounts were replaced in 2025, and the fan and housing were ceramic coated.
