This Canadian-market 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren roadster spent time in Nova Scotia before relocating to the US in 2010 and later to Sweden. It is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter M155 V8 paired with an AMG Speedshift R five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Pure Black over 300SL Red Silver Arrow leather upholstery. Equipment includes asymmetrical 19? turbine-spoke alloy wheels, carbon-ceramic disc brakes, butterfly doors, xenon headlights, an Anthracite Black soft top, side-exit exhaust pipes, carbon-fiber seats, an Alpine head unit, a Bose sound system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Purchased by the current owner in 2024, this SLR McLaren roadster is offered on consignment in California by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with manufacturer’s literature, a Mercedes-Benz build sheet, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
The SLR was built with a carbon-fiber monocoque and crash structures. This example is finished in Pure Black and features upward-opening butterfly doors, an Anthracite Black convertible soft top, xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, heated side mirrors, twin side-exit exhaust outlets behind each front wheel, and an electronically deployed rear spoiler air brake. The seller notes an area of paint touch-ups, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
Asymmetrical turbine-style 19? alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that have 2015 and 2016 date codes. Stopping power is provided by red Mercedes-Benz-branded calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors at all four corners, and the car is equipped with a Sensotronic Brake Control system (SBC).
300SL Red Silver Arrow leather covers the power-adjustable carbon-fiber seats along with the center console, dashboard, and door panel inserts, while carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin. Additional equipment includes an Alpine head unit, a Bose sound system, a shift knob-mounted starter button, a wind deflector, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The black and red leather-wrapped steering wheel frames McLaren-branded instrumentation, including a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 3,900 miles.
The front-mid-mounted 5.4-liter M155 V8 was factory rated at 617 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque and features all-aluminum construction, 24 valves, dry-sump lubrication, and a Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift R five-speed automatic transmission.
Factory literature, service records, two key fobs, a Mercedes-Benz build sheet, and the factory head unit are included in the sale.
