This 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 is number 1 of 100 25th Anniversary Edition examples produced for the US market and was acquired by the current owner in 2008. The car is finished in silver over black leather and is powered by a replacement twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes staggered 17? and 18? wheels, a front lip, a rear wing, a removable roof panel, air conditioning, and an Alpine stereo. This 25th Anniversary Esprit V8 has 19k miles and is offered on dealership consignment with service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features a removable roof panel, a front lip, wheel-arch flares, side air inlets, and a rear wing. The fog lights do not work, and the paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below.

Staggered 17? and 18? wheels are mounted with Sumitomo HTR Z II tires. The four-wheel disc brakes feature cross-drilled rotors and multi-piston front calipers, and adjustable Spax Performance shocks were installed in 2010.

The interior features bolstered seats with black leather upholstery that extends to the console, dashboard, and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning and an Alpine CD stereo, and a carpeted cargo area is located at the rear of the car.

A plaque on the dashboard designates the car as the first 25th Anniversary Edition example produced and displays number 001.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 220-mph speedometer, and gauges to monitor fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 9k of which were added by the current owner.

The twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V8 is mounted rear of the driver and was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The engine is said to have been replaced by a Lotus dealership under previous ownership, and a cut-off switch along with wiring for a trickle charger have been installed. The car will not pass a California emissions test and cannot be sold to a private party from California.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California and Nevada. The vehicle failed California emissions tests in 2011 and 2019 and has not passed since.
