This 1986 Ferrari Testarossa is finished in red over tan and brown leather, and its 4.9-liter flat-12 is paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include a high-mounted side mirror, 15? center-lock wheels, pop-up headlights, a Pioneer stereo, and a gated shifter. The current owner—a licensed car dealer in Texas—acquired the vehicle in May 2017, and work performed later that year consisted of servicing the air-conditioning system. Service in preparation for the sale included repairing the left-front brake caliper, replacing the rear brake pads, flushing the brakes, repairing an oil leak, and changing the oil. Now showing 15k miles, this “flying-mirror” Testarossa is offered on dealership consignment in California with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.

The Testarossa was designed by Pininfarina, and this example is finished in Rosso Corsa with a clear bra applied to the nose. The paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below. The Testarossa’s high-mounted mirror on the driver side of the car was superseded by a lower mirror for the 1987 model year.

Center-lock 16? Cromodora wheels are mounted with 225/50 front and 255/50 rear Toyo Proxes R88 tires that show 2015 date codes. Service in January 2021 included repairing the left-front brake caliper, replacing the rear brake pads, and flushing the system.

The interior features bolstered seats with tan leather upholstery, which extends to the upper portion of the door panels. The dashboard is covered in brown leather with matching console plastics and door accents. Equipment includes a gated shifter and a Pioneer CD player. Receipts from GTO Engineering of Los Angeles, California indicate that the air-conditioning system was serviced in June 2017.

A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer in the center stack shows just over 15k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 4.9-liter F113 flat-12 features 48 valves as well as Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection to produce a factory-rated 385 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque. Service in January 2021 at The Sports Car Shop in Monterey, California totaled $2,168.52 and included an oil change as well as correcting an oil leak at the right-hand valve cover and flushing the clutch hydraulic system; an invoice for the work is provided in the photo gallery.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.

The Carfax report is free of accidents and other issues. It lists registration activity in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas, with the initial entry coming in August 1991.

A walk-around video with the engine running is provided above.
