Presented by Mohr Imports Monterey, member of Bring a Trailer's Local Partners Program.
This 2003 BMW Z8 is powered by a 4.9-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over black Nappa leather. It rides on staggered-width 20? Ronal wheels and is further equipped with a body-color removable hardtop, a black soft top, xenon headlights, heated power-adjustable seats, a six-disc CD changer, a Harman Kardon sound system, and navigation. Acquired by its current owner on BaT in August 2024, this Z8 has 7k miles and is now offered by the consigning dealer—a BaT Local Partner—with a BMW Z8 Performance Package front chassis brace and supports in addition to the VIN-matching commemorative Z8 book, various spare parts and accessories, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The Z8 features bodywork designed by Henrik Fisker with inspiration from the BMW 507 roadster, and the aluminum body panels are mounted over an aluminum spaceframe. This example is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a black soft top. Additional equipment includes xenon headlights with washers and front fender air extractors with BMW roundels as well as polished mirror caps, dual exhaust outlets, and neon taillights and turn indicators. A stone chip is evident under the paint protection film, and the selling dealer notes that the soft top back window seam is beginning to separate. Photos of paint meter readings are viewable in the gallery below.

Staggered-width Alpina-style 20? Ronal wheels are wrapped in 255/35 front and 285/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires with 2021 date codes. The four-wheel disc brake system is equipped with Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and additional features include Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and All-Season Traction (ASC). The brake fluid was flushed in October 2024.

The cabin features black Nappa leather upholstery that extends from the heated power-adjustable seats to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a six-disc CD changer, navigation, a Harman Kardon sound system, leather-wrapped roll hoops, air conditioning, cruise control, and a BMW-branded mobile phone. A crack is noted on the driver’s seat trim, and the selling dealer tells us that the radio volume control knob does not work.

The banjo-spoke steering wheel features silver trim within a leather-wrapped rim. Centrally mounted instrumentation includes a 155-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer with an integrated analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 7k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added under current ownership.

The 4.9-liter S62 V8 was shared with the contemporary E39 M5 and features double-VANOS variable valve timing for a factory-rated output of 394 horsepower and 368 lb-ft torque. The fluids were changed in October 2024, and the vehicle passed a California emissions test in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.

The owner highlights that the BMW Z8 Performance front chassis brace and support kit will accompany the vehicle along with the VIN-matching commemorative coffee table book, manufacture’s literature, a tool roll, a California car cover, a hardtop stand, and additional spare parts.
