This 1974 BMW 3.0CS is said to have been sold new in Southern California and was acquired by the current owner in 1995. The car is finished in green over tan leather upholstery, and power comes from a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Features include aluminum 14? wheels, air conditioning, power windows, and a Blaupunkt CD player. Service performed under current ownership is said to have included body and paintwork, replacement of the seat upholstery and carpeting, and an air-conditioning service. This E9 was listed on BaT in August 2021 and is now offered on dealer consignment with manufacturer’s literature, vintage maps, an incomplete mileage logbook, blue California license plates, tools, and a clean California title.

Delivered from the factory in Jade Green, the car is said to have received bodywork and a repaint in its current green in 2020. Features include US-spec bumpers and lighting, dual sideview mirrors, and fender vents.

Aluminum 14? wheels wear BMW center caps and are mounted with 195/70 Yokohama Avid Touring-S tires. A matching spare wheel with a Bridgestone tire is located under the trunk floor. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners.

The seats were reportedly retrimmed in tan leather under current ownership, and matching carpets were also installed. Features include power windows, air conditioning, and a Blaupunkt Ontario CD player. The air-conditioning system was serviced under current ownership.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, a clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 2,900 miles and is believed to have rolled over once. A mileage log from 1995 to 1999 lists oil changes performed between 92k and 98k miles.

The 3.0-liter M30 inline-six sends power to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
