Ended Tuesday, August 12th on Bring a Trailer Auctions at NO RESERVE : 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 was refreshed by the prior owner between 2016 and 2018, and work is said to have involved rebuilding the 1,962cc twin-cam inline-four, overhauling the suspension, and reupholstering the interior. The car is finished in Blu Provincia Metallizzato over tan vinyl and is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, wrap-around front and rear bumpers, power-assisted disc brakes, 15? Alfaholics GTA-style wheels, an aftermarket stereo, and a MOMO steering wheel. Since being acquired by the current owner in 2018, the car has participated in a number of rallies and driving events in California. This GTV is now offered on dealer consignment as part of the Mohr Imports Car Week Collection: Postcards from Monterey at no reserve with records from current ownership, the removed 14? factory wheels, spare parts, and a clean California title. The car is finished in Blu Provincia Metallizzato, and exterior details include wrap-around front and rear bumpers, smaller chrome side mirrors, and a single exhaust outlet. Paint touchups were performed under prior ownership, and the seller notes paint blend lines near the rear quarter panel and driver’s mirror along with areas of bubbling. There is rust in the door jambs, and blemishes are shown up close in the gallery along with images of paint meter readings. The 15? Alfaholics GTA-style wheels are mounted with Kumho tires measuring 205/50 at each corner. The car was factory equipped with an independent double-wishbone setup with an anti-roll bar up front paired with a live axle, lower trailing arms, and a reaction trunnion out back. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners. The suspension was overhauled in the late 2010s, and Koni shocks are installed. The cabin features front bucket seats and a contoured rear bench that were reupholstered in tan vinyl under prior ownership. Replacement black carpets were also installed and a dash cap was added. A Retro-style radio with Bluetooth was fitted under current ownership and the ignition switch was replaced in 2019. The air conditioning system is inoperative and there is a crack in the dash cap. The wood-rimmed MOMO California steering wheel frames a tachometer with an inset oil pressure gauge accompanied by a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles, approximately 15k of which were added under current ownership. The removed wood-rimmed Personal steering wheel accompanies the vehicle. The 1,962cc twin-cam inline-four was factory rated at 128 horsepower and features SPICA mechanical fuel injection. The engine was reportedly rebuilt between 2016 and 2018 and fitted with Euro-specification camshafts. The spark plugs were replaced in 2019. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. An undercoating has been applied to the chassis and a replacement center muffler was installed in 2021. The removed 14? factory wheels and mounted Falken Pro Touring A/S tires are included in the sale.
