This 1948 Ford Super Deluxe is one of 8,912 station wagons produced for the model year and was refurbished under prior ownership. It is powered by a 239ci flathead V8 linked with a three-speed manual transmission and is finished in Glade Green over tan leather. Equipment includes chrome bumpers, 16” steel wheels with polished hubcaps, three rows of bench seating, a 12-volt electric system, lap belts, and a push-button AM radio. The current owner purchased the car in 2017 and has since added approximately 1k miles. This Super Deluxe is now offered on dealer consignment in California with a Washington title.

The car is finished in Glade Green, and the doors and side panels are constructed of wood framing and paneling. Additional exterior equipment includes a black roof, dual side mirrors, a downturned exhaust tip, turn signals, and a chrome grille, bumpers, and trim.

The body-color 15” steel wheels feature polished hubcaps and trim rings, and they are mounted with Michelin XW4 tires measuring 205/75. The car was factory equipped with front and rear transverse leaf springs, and stopping power is provided by hydraulic front and rear drums.

The cabin features three rows of bench seats upholstered in tan leather, and interior amenities include three-point front seatbelts, second-row lap belts, vent windows, a push-button AM radio, and chrome dashboard trim.

The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, battery, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 57k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. An auxiliary fuel-level gauge has been added beneath the dashboard.

The 239ci flathead V8 was factory rated at 100 horsepower and is topped with a Holley carburetor. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts with an alternator, and the fuel pump is said to have been recently replaced. An engine kill switch has been added. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.
