What happens when you combine Ford’s timeless style and comfort with the utility of a truck? This 1931 Ford Model A Pickup was the marriage between the two which is widely loved for its many attributes and uses in the collector car community. As the final year of production for the Model A roadster pickup (Model 82-B), it was the end of a huge production run, with many excellent examples available today, such as our offering.

With a recent show-quality, frame-off restoration this car is ready for any local event, parade or spirited drive among club members. Equipped with an L-head 4-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission, this Model A is an open-cab pickup with stainless steel headlight housings, a steel bed, sharp looking black running boards, a perfect vinyl soft top and fully enclosed mechanical four-wheel brakes.

The interior features a floor-mounted shifter for the 3-speed manual gearbox, a standard set of driver controls, a black vinyl bench seat and a four-spoke wood steering wheel. The bright instrumentation includes a visible fuel gauge, ammeter, and panel light.

It features a high-quality reproduction body with steel bed sides and 4-piece hood. The bed features gorgeous wood slats, worthy of a collector’s standards. It is finished in a great color combination nicely accented with red spoke rims and all-around period correct-styling

Purchased in 2016 by the current owner, this car has enjoyed the last couple of years here on the Monterey Peninsula. Well maintained and serviced, this Model A Pickup is ready for a new caretaker.
