2004 Ferrari 360 Spider

The Mohr Imports' Monterey Car Week Collection Sale with Bring a Trailer Auctions!

A 14-Lot selection of unique cars here at our Monterey showroom, exclusively offered with BaT August 1st - 14th.

This 2004 Ferrari 360 Spider was first registered in California and spent time in Virginia and Massachusetts before returning to California upon the current owner’s acquisition in September 2015. It shows 21k miles and is finished in Titanium Gray over a blue leather interior. Power is from a 3.6-liter V8 paired with a six-speed F1 sequential gearbox, and features include a blue convertible top, polished aftermarket wheels, a Challenge-style rear grille, Daytona-style seats, and Scuderia fender shields. Service in 2016 is said to include a rebuild of the water pump and alternator as well as the replacement of the timing belts and tensioner bearings, the drive belts, and the brake pads. This 360 Spider is now offered on dealer consignment as part of Mohr Imports’ Monterey Car Week Collection with factory books, service records, a tool kit, a fitted car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The aluminum bodywork was designed by Pininfarina and is finished in Grigio Titanio. Exterior equipment includes a Challenge-style rear grille along with Scuderia Ferrari fender shields. The selling dealer states that the rear bumper has been repainted, and close-up photos of the finish, trim, and lenses can be viewed in the gallery.

Aftermarket 19? wheels feature yellow prancing-horse center caps and wear a mixed set of 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 and Pilot Super Sport tires. Braking is provided by red Ferrari-branded calipers and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners, and the pads and fluid were reportedly replaced in August 2016. The blue convertible top was serviced in March 2018 and is shown in its raised position above.

The cockpit is upholstered in navy blue leather with matching carpets. Amenities include power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, automatic climate control, and a Ferrari stereo with a remote-mounted CD changer.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a central 10k-rpm tachometer, a 220-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 21k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the current owner. The fuel-level float was reportedly replaced in March 2018.

The 3.6-liter Tipo F131 V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft and titanium connecting rods and produced 395 horsepower when new. The selling dealer states that the fuel pump was replaced in 2015 and that service in 2016 included a coolant flush, rebuilding the water pump and alternator, and replacing the drive belts, the timing belts, and tensioner bearings.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through Ferrari’s six-speed F1 sequential gearbox. Suspension is independent all around, and additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery.

The July 2020 Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage and shows registration history in California, Virginia, and Massachusetts. There is currently a lien on the car, and the current owner’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
