1974 Porsche Carrera #268 of 528 produced for the US market. 12/73 production date. Locally owned for many years. Original color is Bitter Chocolate. A straight, un restored example in Green Metallic.
This car is accident and rust free. A non-sunroof coupe.
Numbers correct car. Correct engine and transmission. No oil leaks on the car. Steering is tight - steering rack replaced in '97, brakes are good - all calipers rebuilt in '96. Gear box and clutch are great. Good Syncros in all gears. Electrical is fine. Windows work great.
The leather interior is in original condition. Correct original gages. For the purist the shifter knob could be returned to original. The dash is very nice with no cracks. Original factory headliner, carpets and seats (driver's seat is cracked).
Original 15" Fuch wheels. Good tires all around.
The car is a local car reportedly sold new in Monterey at Wester Porsche Audi in 1974.
