Superformance, license by Safir GT40 and in the Shelby registry. A one owner car.
Powder Blue (gulf Blue) with a Marigold wraparound nose stripe (a-la P/1075) and with Black Alcantera interior. Picked up from the factory on 5-31-07 for Superformance LLC (Irvine, CA). Professionally assembled by Olthoff Racing of North Carolina and delivered to its original owner in early 2008
- VIN# P2000 is the first car produced of a nonconsecutive special order number series that duplicates or mirrors the original MK 1 serial numbers each being an even 1000 digits higher. The second car P2001 is owned by Carroll Shelby.

sorted, ceramic coasted headers and fully licensed in California. Current registration to March 2011.

The chassis is an exact replication of the original monococque unibody
structure down to the press aluminum roof spider. The chassis, at over 12,000 pounds per degree is stiffer then any other Chassis on the market and is made up of over 244 laser cut and bent or presses parts.
The suspension features the original race car lay out. 90% of
the continuation parts are interchangeable on the original car!
The Gt40 Continuation accurately replicates the original chassis,
suspension, wheel hubs, uprights, pedal box, instruments, steering,
dash, headers, catches and latches, just to name a few.
Automobile owners also have the luxury of modern safety modifications
such as Wilwood 4 piston super light brakes, Bilstein shocks with H & R
Springs, an adjustable pedal box.Also, a welcome upgrade from original specification is a modern air conditioning and heating system, carefully integrated to not detract from the vintage look.

The Interiors features original style seats and racing 4 point Willans harness
seat belts. A racing style dash features Smith gauges. The GT40 has Rack and pinion steering and has been fitted with a removable steering wheel for easy access to the cockpit.
